Apollo is out of our very first Newfoundland litter. He is an Annie/Beethoven son. Sweet does not even begin to describe this gentle, laid back soul. When he was six months old, I taught him to retrieve. As our favorite place to sit was under our apple trees, he found great joy in bringing me the fallen fruit, one by one, and gently placing them in my out-stretched hand. On the rare occasions I laid back in my lounge chair, and fell asleep, it was not unusual to wake up and find my entire stomach stacked with the apples that he had faithfully brought, one by one, and gently laid on my tummy. We have truly been blessed with owning this beautifully spirited pup- our "little man."

This is a rendition of Apollo done by local artist Beth Brawn of Outdoor Reflections. We are pleased to feature it on Apollo's page- and in our home- as we feel that her artistic capabilities are astounding, and we are proud to have commissioned such a masterpiece from her. Many more of our dogs, in the near future, will be having their portraits painted by Beth, as we feel that she has captured Apollo's very heart in her piece. Thank you so much, Beth!
